Peyton Roper: 2B/RHP, (2024) Blue Springs South, MO. 5-foot-10, 155-pound lanky frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 74 mph. Begins in a balanced stance with a small load, then uses a toe tap to start his swing. Has average bat speed, rotational swing plane and high finish. He found some barrels in his round. Pull side approach. Developing in the infield, made throws up to 66 mph; had firm hands, choppy footwork and a lengthy exchange. Used a stiff arm action with a high ¾ slot. Clocked a 60 time of 7.89 at the event. Projectable on the mound, used a long arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing good arm speed. Feel type pitcher and uses some effort. Displays even shoulders with athletic balance point. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 70-71 mph; shows running action and consistent control. He shows sweeping action on his curveball (59-60). His changeup (55-57) showed fading action.
