Madrid is an athletic 5-foot-6, 160-pound, right-handed hitting middle infield prospect out of Staley HS is Missouri’s 2021 class. At the event he ran a 7.00 60 and a 4.51 home-to-first. At the plate, Madrid posted an exit velocity of 80 mph, short compact and repeatable swing, shows body control and balance throughout, flat bat path, quick hands, controls the barrel, during batting practice ball jumps off barrel, showed pop to left field. Defensively, quick feet, athletic actions, clean exchanges, mostly accurate throws, top infield velocity across the diamond was 74 mph, quick arm, fluid footwork.

10/20/18 –Madrid is a 5-foot-6, 155-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder in Missouri’s 2021 class. He ran a 6.95 second 60 yard dash and a 4.31 home-to-first. At the plate, 78 mph exit velocity, athletic stance, quiet load, quick hands, in line stride, shows some feel for the barrel, level bat path, during batting practice he showed an inside out approach. Defensively, Madrid has good actions, moves well side-to-side, momentum towards target, quick transfer to release, short quick arm action, high three-quarter release, fairly accurate throws.
