SWMO Prospect ID: OF Kolby Follis (Bolivar HS) opened a lot of eyes by running a 6.65 60, which was one of the event’s better recorded times. More importantly, Follis flashed his speed in the outfield and on the base paths. On the weekend, the right-handed hitting outfielder collected a bunt single and opposite-field double, stole a base, and showcased a 79-81 mph arm from the outfield.

St. Louis Preseason Prospect IS: Kolby Follis, OF, Bolivar, Class of 2013:  Follis an athletic switch hitter who showed natural outfield instincts and an all-around ability for the game. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound Follis exhibited a strong arm (85 mph) that had carry and was on target. He moves with fluidity and purpose to the ball, and his natural instincts and hands further separated him from the pack.  The switch hitting Follis has a quick and compact swing from the left-side. He demonstrated good balance and barrel whip through the zone as he sprayed line drives to all fields. From the right side Follis demonstrated quick hands and some power potential.
