At the plate, balanced stance, smooth rhythm, some hand load, short in line stride, stays through the ball after contact, shows power to the pull side, level bat plane, has range in swing.  In the outfield, high three quarters arm slot, 79 mph positional velocity, fluid and athletic, plays through the ball, quick transfer on time with footwork, arm works. On the mound, Monroe comes from an over the top arm slot, throws with regular effort, creates in line direction down the mound, arm works, aggressive down the mound, fastball at mostly 76-78 mph, breaking ball 1-to-7 shape, change up at 70-72 mph, throws with near fastball arm speed, flashed cutting action.
