10/20/18 – McClure is a 5-foot-7, 140-pound left-handed hitting middle infielder in Kansas’ 2022 class. At the event he ran a 7.50 second 60 yard dash and a 4.64 home-to-first. During hitting evaluations, McClure posted a 79 mph exit velocity, has some raw ability, majority of contact to right field during bp, shows a simple yet athletic set up at the plate, quiet load, in line stride, quick hands, extension through the baseball. Defensively, McClure is quick to the baseball with fluid footwork, momentum towards target, three-quarter release, positional velocity of 62 mph, very accurate throws.

6/19/18 - McClure is a 5-foot-7, 140-pound left-handed hitting middle infielder and righ-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2022 class. He ran a 4.53 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 82 mph. During batting practice, McClure uses a leg kick to get to his load, quiet hands, stays inside the ball and has an opposite field approach. Defensively, he has a ¾ arm slot, clean transfers, momentum towards first base, positional velo of 59 mph and very accurate throws. On the mound, McClure has a smooth deliver, works from a high ¾ slot, and builds momentum down the mound. His fastball is 68-70 mph and thrown for a high percentage of strikes, changeup has armside run at 60-63 mph and his curveball has gradual bite, 12-to-6 shape and is 56-57 mph.
2/23/14 – McClure is 5-foot-7, 140-pounds 2B/SS and runs a 4.23 home-to-first He has a ¾ release and a clean exchange with accurate throws across the field.  He has a long, loose arm that produces throws of 80 MPH across the infield.  With the bat, McClure has a line-drive approach with good bat speed.  He has little wasted moves in his load and gets good extension with his top exit velo being 75 MPH.
2/18/13: McClure is an undersized 5-foot-6, 135-pound middle infielder who showed good lateral movement to both sides, giving a max effort on all balls hit to him. He had a top velocity of 75-mph across the infield with long, loose arm action. At the plate, McClure keeps his hands inside the ball with the ability to spray it to all fields.
