Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-0, 195-pounds. Athletic build with present strength and athleticism.
Hit: RHH. Starts with a neutral stance and upright posture with hands getting set tight to the body and shoulder height. Slow loads the weight into the back side. Leg lift stride back to original position. Lower half works short and rotationally through the zone into a slightly bent front leg. Very rotational path with the hands through the zone. Level bat path and line drive approach. Hands work quickly through the zone. Developing balance through the contact point.
Power: 91.5 max exit velocity, averaged 79.3 mph. 271’ max distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 92 mph. High 3/4 arm slot with a loose arm action.
Defense: Attacks the ball with shorter strides and controlled rhythm. Fields the ball out in front of the glove side leg with a feel for glove action. Utilizes a shuffle crow hop technique with slight momentum headed towards the target.
Run: 7.03 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Short rocker style footwork around the rubber working to an easy pivot foot. Quick pace and tempo to the delivery. Works to a mid height balance point with a short sink into the lower half. Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound. Gets good push off the rubber with the back foot. High glove front side with glove side pulling back horizontally at release.
Arm Action: RH. 3/4 arm slot with a long and clean arm action.
FB: T86.9, 85.5-86.9 mph. Very heavy arm side running action with some life through the zone. T2167, 2143 average rpm.
