8/4/18 - Lohse worked the first two innings for Team Missouri, allowing no runs on one hit with four strikeouts. His fastball worked 82-84 mph, touching 85 mph. It showed late life and produced a bunch of swing and miss attempts from Kentucky hitters. His breaking ball was equally as sharp at 67-68 mph, with 2-to-8 shape. Lohse has a small frame with a big arm, throws a high percentage of strikes attacking hitters with his fastballs.
2/19/18 - Lohse is a 5-foot-11 155-pound left-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class. Lohse was impressive with velo and command, compact delivery, simple and repeatable, slight rotation at balance point in hips, accelerates down the mound in line, loose and quick arm speed, throws with some effort at release, over the top arm slot, fastball works on a downhill plane with slight two—seam action, 82-86 mph, breaking ball had sharp action with late break, 1-to-7 action, looks to a buckling and swing and miss pitch, throws change up with fastball arm speed, 72-74 mph, arm side run, small frame with more in the tank as he continues to develop to add to already good command of arsenal of pitches.
