Sutton is an athletically built 5-foot-10 169-pound right handed hitting third baseman and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class.  He ran a 4.60 home to first and had an 88 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, balanced stance, small stride, accelerated bat speed after stride, level path, middle to pull side contact during hitting evals, flashing pull side power, compact swing.  On the infield, 78 mph positional velocity, over the top arm slot, stays under control with fluid footwork, soft hands with clean transfers, long arm circle, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Sutton has an aggressive drop and drive-type delivery, athletic build with clean arm action, over the top release, throws with some effort, fastball worked 77-78 mph, slight down hill plane, breaking ball has sharp 11-to-5 shape, 64-67 mph, throws change up with near fastball arm speed, controllable at 68-72 mph, slight arm side run. 

2/18/18 - Sutton is a 5-foot-10 145-pound right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2020 class. Sutton has a controlled leg lift, high three quarters arm slot, slightly across body with stride, throws with easy effort and good arm action, showed command of three pitches, fastball worked mostly 73-75 mph, some with late life, running action, change up at 68-70 mph, late arm side run, near fastball arm speed, breaking ball has 12-to-6 shape, occasionally sharp and late with depth, can throw for a strike

2/10/18 - Sutton is a 5-foot-10 160-pound right-handed hitting second baseman in Missouri’s 2020 class.  He ran a 7.84 60 and has a 77 mph exit velocity. At the plate, balanced set up, no wasted movement in hands, level path to extension, gap to gap contact during hitting evals.  On the infield, high three quarters release, gathers feet and gains ground to throw after clean transfer in hands, fluid feet to the ball, clean transfer, mostly accurate throws, lean frame with room to add muscle.

7/18/17 - Sutton is a 5-foot-10 145-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2019 class.  He ran a 7.85 60 and a 4.70 home to first.  He has a 69 mph exit velo. At the plate, starts slightly open, short in line stride, minimal hand load, smooth pre-swing rhythm, level path through the zone, swing produced middle to opposite field contact during batting practice.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.34 and 2.48-seconds, 69 mph positional velo, high three quarter release, wide and slightly staggered feet in set up, clean transfer, fluid footwork, mostly accurate throws to the bag.
