2/23/14 – Pomering is an athletic 6-foot-1, 165-pound RHP.  Pomring posted one of the best velos of the event with a fastball at 86 MPH.  He throws from a ¾ arm slot and has a loose arm action.  He has an 11/5 curbveball with sharp break and a 72-74 change-up with some fade.   He also showed a splitter at 75 MPH.  He throws with easy effort and has a quick arm.

2/23/14 – Pomering is an athletic 6-foot-1, 165-pound catcher.  Pomering had pop-times between 1.90-1.95 2 with a positional velo of 78 MPH, mostly accurate throws.  He has a quick glove-to-hand exchange and showed good mobility behind the plate.  Offensively, Pomering starts in a balanced position with little wasted moves in his load. He has a level swing path with good extension and the ability to hit line drives to both gaps consistently.  Pomering has a 81 MPH exit velo and runs a 4.3 home-to-first.
