vs Illinois State: Sophomore lefty Tony Neubeck filled the zone with a 88-91 fastball, an average quality slider at 81-83, a usable low-70s curve and fastball arm action on an effective low-80s changeup.

6-foot-1, 185-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player.  7.38 runner.  Wide squared stance.  Toe tap trigger and small hand load.  Lower half gets through swing.  Loose swing.  Mid/pull approach with mainly line drive contact.  Average barrel contact and flashed pull pop.  83 mph exit velocity.  IF- Active feet and moves well laterally.  Good glove and fields ball out in front.  77 mph arm strength with carry and accuracy.  On mound- Projectable frame.  Good tempo and balance through delivery.  Lands slightly across body down mound.  Throws from a ¾ arm slot with good clean arm action.  Good extension out front.  Hides ball well.  Fastball comes out of hand with slight run at 80-83 mph.  Curveball has 1/7 big break with average spin at 63-65 mph.  Change-up straight at 70-74 mph. 

6-foot-1, 180-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. Strong follow in 2021 class. On mound; has tempo and rhythm to delivery, hides ball from hitter, higher ¾ slot, ball comes out extremely clean on tilted plane to hitter. Fastball was 81-83 mph, quick arm action, on downhill plane with varying action. Slurvy break on 1/7 curveball; consistent for strikes. Slider was 74-77 mph, cutter shape and spin, with late break. Above avg. feel for changeup with late fade and sink. Four pitch mix, strike thrower, and profiles as front-line starter at college level. 7.53 runner. Solid athleticism in box, closed front side, slight arm bar, gap to gap hitter, occasional pop in bat, 86 mph exit velocity. Easy actions in field, moves well to field, fields out front, has momentum on throws, accurate with carry to target, 85 mph arm from outfield.

8/12/18- 6-foot, 175-pound left-handed hitting two-way player.  7.39 runner.  Slightly open athletic stance.  Shoulder load and small leg lift to start.  Lands closed, and swing can get long.  Mid/oppo approach with groundball to fly ball contact.  Inconsistent barrel with ok bat speed.  OF- Solid glove and feet.  Arm works and has average carry and accuracy at 86 mph arm strength.  IF- Moves athletically to ball with ok glove.  79 mph arm strength with carry and accuracy.  On mound- Athletic smooth tempo delivery.  Throws across body with loose arm action.  Throws from ¾ arm slot.  Fastball is straight but jumps on hitter at 78-81 mph.  Curveball is 64-67 mph and has 1/7 break with small shape and ok spin with decent feel.  Average feel for change-up with cut action.  Follow in 2021 class.
