The 6-foot-3 lengthy infielder showed good footwork at third base and a calm approach in the box. The left-handed hitting Karschnik showed that he can get his hands to the ball quickly by launching an inside fastball, over the CF’s head, that landed on the warning track for a double. He also collected another single, stole a base, and scored twice.
