6/20/16- 6-foot, 210-pound left-handed hitting catcher. St. Louis U. commit. Square stance with rhythm, clean bat path, solid mid/pull contact, longer stride, out front at contact occasionally, 82 mph exit velocity off tee. Leadership qualities behind plate, good feet, works low and through target on throws, solid carry with above avg. accuracy to bag. 1.99-2.06 pop times with 76 mph arm strength. Flashes ability to receive, sticks pitches down in zone, has lower half flexibility.
2015 Future Games - Livorsi is a 6-foot, 205-pound left-handed hitting catcher who has shown the versatility to also play first and third base. Offensive threat every time we walks to plate. Shows ability to consistently square baseball; with loud contact to middle/pull side of field. Good balance and direction in swing. Stays down and through at contact. Shows loose hands and clean bat path to contact. Shows solid feet and hands at third base with quick release and accuracy on throws. Receives well behind the plate with good flexibility in lower half. Throws are accurate to bag with carry. 78 mph arm strength and his top pop time at event was 1.94.
6-foot, 200-pound catcher. Ran 7.8 60 on slip/bad track. Recently improved running time to 7.43. Left-handed hitting catcher with 87 mph exit velocity off tee. Leg kick trigger to contact. Velocity on throws will improve with better direction and momentum to second base. Showed average accuracy to bag at 2.00-2.06 pop times with 69 mph arm strength. High Follow catcher in 2017 class.
