Hughes was on the barrel across multiple looks this past weekend tallying multiple extra base hits. Hughes displayed some feel for the barrel as well as the ability to drive the ball in the air. Defensively Hughes was in control of the run game and showed off his arm strength, recording a 2.37 pop time in-game while also throwing out a potential base stealer at third.
