Began in an athletic balanced stance with a quick load, then used a controlled toe tap stride. Bat speed was above average, used a flat swing plane and level finish. Barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Projectable athletic on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a compact arm action and low ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses some effort. Displays even shoulders with an athletic balance point. Lands closed with an athletic balanced finish. Has arm side command and sinking tailing action with heavy movement. (Max spin 2201; Avg 2110). Had sweeping action and glove side command on his 10/4 curveball. (Max spin 2388; Avg 2301).
