Thomas Reid III: 3B/SS, (2022) East Jordan, MI. Grand Rapids CC Commit, 5-foot-10, 175-pound. Solid at the plate, Reid iii recorded an exit velocity of 92 mph. Began in a balanced open stance with a controlled load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed is efficient, exhibits a level swing plane and good extension on his finish. During his round he produced some loud contact. Gap to gap line drive approach. Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 80 mph; has consistent feet, firm hands, and a clean fluid exchange. Glovework was used deep. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.3. (Max spin ; Avg ).

Body: 5-foot-10, 175-pound.
Hit: (LHH) Solid. Started in a balanced open stance with a controlled load, then used a leg kick. Efficient bat speed. Good extension on his finish, level swing. Gap to gap line drive approach.
Power: 92 mph exit velocity, average 88.02 mph.
Defense: (IF) Firm hands, consistent footwork, clean fluid exchange. Solid. Deep fielding mechanics.
Arm: 80 mph infield velocity.
Speed: 7.30 (60-yard).
Thomas Reid III: SS/RHP, (2022) East Jordan, MI. 5-foot-11, 175-pound. At the plate, Reid iii had an exit velocity of 86 mph. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 74 mph. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.62. On the mound, threw his fastball 71-73 mph with a max of 73 mph. Curveball (62-64 mph), changeup (66-67 mph).

Hitting: At the plate hitting from the left side has an upright stance keeping his hands back. Small front leg lift creating space with his hips creating a line drive the middle with some authority.
Fielding: In the infield shows a solid skill set with fundamentals. Ranges well in the field made a nice range play during the evaluation.
Pitching: On the mound sets up towards the first baseline. Repeats his mechanics each time showing a feel for pitching. Curve shows a sharp break down in the zone. Has a feel for his curveball thrown with a tight spin. Change up throwing with the same arm speed as the fastball. Gradual break on the slider.
