Matthew Shakotko: 1B/3B, (2024) Dakota, MI. 5-foot-10, 165-pound. Raw during batting practice, Shakotko's best exit velocity was 79 mph. Started in an open stance with a wrapping big load, then used a quick stride. Had quick bat speed, rotational flat swing plane and low finish. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Raw in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 65 mph; has hard hands, a lengthy developing exchange, and developing feet. Fields the ball deep, movements laterally were developing. From an-over-the-top slot, showed occasional accuracy to the bag with a stiff arm action. Recorded a 60 time of 8.27 at the event.
