Starts in a balanced open stance with a smooth load, then uses a closed controlled stride. Bat speed was explosive, used a level on top swing plane and level good extension on his finish. Created a lot of loud contact and found lots of barrels. Line drive approach. Smooth while in the infield, made throws up to 84 mph; had a clean exchange, quick footwork, and soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used a long arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing decent accuracy to the bag. Capable on the mound, showing quick arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle with a long arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses high effort. Showed a consistent balance point. Lands square with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 85-87 mph and topped out at 88 mph; showed hard action and arm side feel control with heavy hard movement. (Max spin 2123; Avg 2003).
