6/17/2014 5-foot-6, 160 pound prospect. Throws from the left side using a high ¾ arm slot. Fastball has a little arm side run at 74-76 mph. Curveball is loopy at 63-65 mph. Good actions in the outfield with his hands and feet. Carry on his throws at 78 mph.  Ran a 4.65 home to 1^st. Inside/out approach from the left side of the plate. Quick hands and good extension. Bat speed registered at 72 mph. 

6.25.13 Darren, the younger brother of shortstop Joey Rydzewski, is a smaller lefty at this point with a strong build.  Only 5-foot-6, 155-pounds, Rydzewski gets a lot out of his frame.  Arm worked wel. Sat 72-74 mph with fastball with some armside run.  Breaking ball has sweeping action and 1/7 break (61mph)  Smooth delivery with ¾ slot.  Will be interesting to see how his progression moves forward.
