Cody Hultink: SS/2B, (2021) Pennfield, MI. Michigan Commit, 6-foot, 180-pound. Fluid at the plate, Hultink had a max exit velocity of 98 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is quick, exhibits a short flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Had a lot of loud contact and found lots of barrels. Line drive approach. In the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 85 mph. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.48 60-yard dash.

Hit: (RHH) Started in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Quick bat speed. Good extension on his finish, short flat swing. Line drive approach.
Power: 98 mph exit velocity, average 90.51 mph. 74.68 mph bat speed average. 22.84 mph hand speed average.
Arm: 85 mph infield velocity.
Speed: 6.48 (60-yard).
Fielding: Explosive athlete stood out on the diamond while working in all aspects. Started the day by running a 6.51 sixty yard dash. In the field showed a quick first step ranging well, while throwing 84 mph across the diamond.
Hitting: Short compact swing with fast hands at the plate. At the plate hits the ball up the middle or to the opposite field. Ball jumped off his barrel. Posted a 97 mph exit velocity also crushing a ball 333 feet on the day.
Hitting: At the plate shows fast hands getting his barrel to the ball. Ball jumps off the barrel with authority. Sets up with an open stance producing line drives. Loud contact off the bat.
Positional Profile: SS
Body: 6-foot, 160-pounds. Highly athletic build, projectable frame.
Hit: RHH. Open stance, short stride to even, maintains balance. Short path, advanced bat speed, barrel aware. Loose handsy swing.
Power: 100 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. Short loose arm action, works out of a high 3/4 slot, showed ability to
play accurate, arm carried across the diamond.
Defense: Athletic defender, hands played soft and showed above average body control, actions play through the baseball with relative ease.
Run: 6.85 runner in the 60.
