8/9/13 Bennett has a good frame to work with. 6-foot-1, 170-pounds.  Has good levers to generate some pop. Does work uphill a bit. Picked up two hits in game action. Both basehits up the middle to right side.  Can also play in the outfield and occasionally pitch.  Smaller school kind of player.

7/2/13 Bennett has come as a catcher before but decided to show his versatility by working out in the OF and on the mound.  Threw the ball well from OF.  Has a strong arm.  Played through the ball well.  Accurate throws.   On the mound, bumped 80mph on time.  Mainly sat between 75-78mph.  Kept breaking ball down.  Smooth rhythm.  Needs to refine secondary pitches.

6/18/13 Bennett has a good frame at 6-foot-1, 170-pounds.  Plenty of room for projection.  Arm is his best attribute.  Threw 2.1-2.13 pop times.  Could improve as arm shortens up.  Throws were accurate and on the bag.  Swing produces line drives.  Needs to continue to improve consistency at the plate.

9/16/12 Bennett has a good frame to fill out standing at 6-foot-1, 160-pounds.  He showed well in all facets of the game.  He showed good footwork and a quick arm behind the plate.  His pop time was 2.09.  At the plate he displayed good balance , smooth load and a line drive swing that made the ball jump at times.  He has potential to be a gap to gap guy as he fills out.
