Carson Smith: OF/RHP, (2023) Grandville, MI. 6-foot-2, 195-pound. Projectable in the box, Smith clocked an exit velocity of 94 mph. Begins in a wide stance with a low load, then uses a short stride. Has an uphill swing plane and a back foot finish. Through the round he found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Smooth from the outfield, he showed plus arm strength by making throws to the infield at velocities up to 90 mph;had a clean lengthy exchange, smooth footwork, and consistent hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a long arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing decent accuracy to the base. Showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.79 60-yard dash.

Hit: (RHH) Started in a wide stance with a low load, then used a short stride. Back foot finish, uphill swing. Gap to gap approach.
Power: 94 mph exit velocity, average 89.37 mph. 67.83 mph bat speed average. 24.12 mph hand speed average.
Defense: (OF) Consistent hands, smooth footwork, clean lengthy exchange. Smooth. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic.
Arm: 90 mph outfield velocity. Long arm action, high ¾ slot, decent accuracy.
Speed: 6.79 (60-yard).
Pitching: On the mound sets up with a shoulder width base in the middle of the rubber. Takes a wide step left moving to his pivot striding along the front leg Throwing with an easy arm action.Change up was a plus pitch for his age thrown with good arm speed as the fastball while commanding the strike zone.
Hitting: At the plate a high waisted prospect hitting from the right side hose his hands and a strong loaded position rotating his elbows well to create left in his swing. Squared up the ball a few times showcasing big-time power from the right side of the plate.
Fielding : In the outfield has a patient approach has the ball is hit fielding with two hands off of his left leg taking a step and firing home.
