Blake Ilitch: RHP/3B, (2025) University Liggett, MI. 6-foot-3, 195-pound. Athletic projectable at the plate, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 96 mph. (66.9 mph bat speed average). (21.6 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was explosive electric, used a level swing plane and level finish. Had a lot of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Up the middle gap to gap approach. Throwing from the outfield, he displayed power in his arm with throws up to 94 mph. Athletic projectable in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 91 mph; showed soft hands, athletic rhythmic feet, and a quick exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a loose firm arm action and an-over-the-top slot. Projectable athletic on the mound, used an over-the-top arm angle and a loose arm action while showing lightning arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows high effort. Showed athletic balance point and downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Changeup (74-77 mph), slider (71-74 mph). Threw his fastball 88-90 mph with a max of 91 mph; shows some action and command down in the zone with heavy movement. (Max spin ; Avg ). He showed tight action and down in the zone control on his sharp curveball (69-71). (Max spin ; Avg ).
