Bennett Hitzelberger: LHP/OF, (2022) Richmond, MI. 6-foot-1, 182-pound. Fluid at the plate, the left-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 96 mph. Begins in a balanced tall stance with a big load, then uses a big leg kick. Had a long upward swing plane, explosive bat speed and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Pull side approach. From the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 85 mph. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.96. Smooth on the mound, showed good arm speed, he had a long arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses decent effort. Tall balance point with uphill shoulders. Has a clean finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 85-87 mph and topped out at 88 mph; showed some command and cutting action with tight movement. Had gradual action and decent command on his 11/5 curveball (69-70). Threw a flat splitter (73-74) that showed sinking action and arm side command.

Speed: 6.96 (60-yard).
Pitching: Smooth. Drop-and-drive delivery, decent effort. High ¾ arm angle, good arm speed, long arm action. Athletic balance point, uphill shoulders, a clean finish.
FB: T88. 85-87 mph. (Max spin 2279; Avg 2219). Some accuracy, cutting action, tight movement.
CB: 69-70 mph. Decent command, gradual action, 11/5 shape.
SP: 73-74 mph. Arm side control, sinking action, flat movement.
Hitting - At the plate had an impressive round of BP keeps his hands lower and a strong loaded position ball absolutely flew off of his barrel showcasing a positive launch angle. Very impressive round at the plate left-handed hitter that understands how to use his barrel.
Fielding : In the outfield uses choppy feet as he approaches the ball, fielding out front taking a vertical crow hop and throwing.
