Ashton Nowak: RHP/SS, (2022) Gabriel Richard, MI. 6-foot-1, 170-pound. Solid at the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 93 mph. (67.02 mph bat speed average). (20.39 mph hand speed average). Began in a tall open stance with a compact load, then used a toe tap. Had efficient bat speed and had good extension on his finish. He showed some loud contact during his round. Gap to gap approach. Solid in the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 89 mph; had sure hands, a natural exchange, and consistent footwork. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Recorded a time of 7.1 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, slider (75-78 mph). Threw his fastball 80-82 mph and topped out at 83 mph; (Max spin 2057; Avg 1862).

Body: 6-foot-1, 170-pound.
Hit: (RHH) Solid. Begins in a tall open stance with a compact load, then uses a toe tap. Efficient bat speed. Gap to gap approach.
Power: 93 mph exit velocity, average 82.55 mph. 67.02 mph bat speed average. 20.39 mph hand speed average.
Defense: (IF) Sure hands, consistent footwork, natural exchange. Solid. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally.
Arm: 89 mph infield velocity.
Speed: 7.10 (60-yard).
FB: T83. 80-82 mph. (Max spin 2057; Avg 1862).
SL: 75-78 mph. (Max spin 2491; Avg 2389).
Fielding: In the OF starts by opening his hip moving towards the ball at an angle, fields off his left leg taking a small gather step throwing with a short arm action.
Pitching: On the mound works from the stretch solely from a 3/4 arm angle. Turns inward hiding the ball well and has sneaky velocity. Fastball was easy out the hand working the inner half of the zone to a right hand hitter. Fastball was 78-79 mph topped 80 mph. Slider showed a late break 73-75 mph. An advanced pitch. Knuckleball showed a lot of movement 74-75 mph.
Hitting: Sets up with an open stance using an aggressive approach at the plate. Turns inward and loads his hands. Longer swing path showing some raw power. Worked the 5-6 hole.
Hitting: Tall narrow approach at the plate takes his leg back during his load showing a smooth swing. Drove balls to the pull side.
