Aaron Bess: RHP/OF, (2022) Boyne City, MI. 5-foot-10, 168-pound. Solid at the plate, Bess best exit velocity was 91 mph. (65.80 mph bat speed average). (19.21 mph hand speed average). Started in a tall open stance then used a leg kick. Upward swing plane. He produced some loud contact and found some barrels. Line drive pull side approach. Solid recorded an outfield position velocity of 82 mph; had choppy footwork, a clean fluid exchange, and sure hands. Fields the ball one hand, movements laterally were athletic. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.05. Athletic on the mound, had an longer quick arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Showed a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 80-82 mph with a max of 83 mph; Showed slight running action. (Max spin 2015; Avg 1869). Shows late action on his 11/5 curveball (67-68). (Max spin 2235; Avg 2235). He has deceiving action on his changeup (74-75).

Defense: (OF) Sure hands, choppy footwork, clean fluid exchange. Solid. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball one hand.
Arm: 82 mph outfield velocity.
Speed: 7.05 (60-yard).
Pitching: Athletic. High ¾ arm angle, longer quick arm action. Consistent balance point, lands closed, a falling off finish.
FB: T83. 80-82 mph. (Max spin 2015; Avg 1869). Slight running action.
CB: 67-68 mph. Late action, 11/5 shape. (Max spin 2235; Avg 2235).
CH: 74-75 mph. Deceiving action.
Hitting: At the plate on the left side has a small knee bend and keeps his hands away from his body. Brings hands back during the load creating separation from his hand to foot. Likes to hit the ball to right field.
Fielding: In the infield starts from a tall point working quickly to the baseball fielding out front and brings the ball into his body. Ranges from a tall position showing the ability to move side to side well.
