On the mound the physical right hander uses a slower tempo delivery that requires some effort. Uses a lot of arm in the delivery and could benefit from staying in his legs a little longer before release. Short arm action that works through a high ¾ slot. Does not shy away from pitching with intent. Fastball is true through the zone at 77-81 mph. Curveball has big gradual 11/5 shape at 63-66 mph. Changeup has arm side fade while maintaining near fastball speed at 68-69 mph. At first base moves well around the bag with a feel for the position. Shows soft hands while accepting the ball with confidence. Threw across the diamond with above average arm strength for the position through a high ¾ slot. Righty swinger with a fluid, athletic load. Launches from a balanced position before taking a slightly downhill path to contact. Feel for the barrel that generates gap jump off the barrel. Looks to be a guy who will hit for regular average with sneaky pop in there.
