The 6-foot, 150-pound prospect features loose arm that goes through a ¾ arm slot. Has a tendency to throw across his body but FB is firm and jumps out of his hand at 80-83 mph. Adams throws a CB with good bite that breaks on a 9/4 plane but didn’t show total feel for it just yet. During his bullpen he threw 1 CH that came across at 72 mph. As Adams continues to mature he shows signs of being a good arm to follow for his class. A lot to like about the way the 3rd baseman approaches the baseball as a defender. Was able to center the baseball with his body and start a clean transfer to throwing process. Arm strength present across the diamond up to 78 mph out of a ¾ slot. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Double tap load into a balanced launch. Path is level with slight downhill tendencies. Quick hands with some strength in there. Line drive type guy who worked to both gaps. More juice on the way as strength arrives.
