9.11.16:  Torroella is 5-11 with an athletic frame and good speed, running a 6.88 60 yard dash. Hits from the right side from a balanced, athletic stance. Good rhythm, leg kick stride with a short load back. Decent lower half and good balance throughout swing. Short to the ball with a level swing path, line drive approach with an exit velocity of 81. In the outfield, gets behind the ball well and plays through it. Clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a loose arm with good carry, position velocity was 87. 
2.21.16 - Athletic frame at 5-foot-11, 185-pounds. Hits from a square athletic set up. Short load with small leg kick.  Shows some rhythm throughout swing. Short path to the ball and gets around at times. Nice balance throughout swing. Exit velocity of 81 mph. Active feet in the outfield. Gets momentum through the ball on throws. Throws from an almost over-the-top arm slot. Clean exchange and release. Throws have nice carry on them at 86 mph.
11.1.15 - Athletic frame at 5-foot-11, 175-pounds. Ran a 7.1 60-yard dash. Hits from an athletic set up. Nice rhythm in swing. Smooth load with stride. Short swing path with average bat speed. Good balance throughout and lower half usage. Exit velocity of 79 mph.  Active feet and soft hands. Clean exchange to long arm action throwing from a high ¾ arm angle. Throws have some carry on them at 83 mph.
6.30.15 - Athletic frame at 5-foot-10 160-pounds. Hits from an open set up with high hands. Double tap load in longer stride. Short, level bat path to the ball with average bat speed.  Gets lower half involved and has rhythm in swing. Gets a bit on front foot at times. From the outfield, has as short quick arm action from a high ¾ arm angle. Throws have some carry on them. Displays fluid footwork with a clean exchange. As he gets his momentum going with his throws, will increase arm strength. Velocity from the outfield was 83 mph.  Ran a 4.5 home to first and has an exit velocity of 81 mph. Quiet and controlled delivery. Gathers to balance point. Throws from a ¾ arm angle. Shows some arm speed and pitches with some effort. Level shoulders and lands in line. Falls off slightly toward first base. More in the tank as he gets delivery more fluid. Commands his fastball that got up to 79 mph. 10/4 breaking ball with gradual break at 66 mph and near fastball arm speed. Good command of the changeup with near fastball arm speed at 69 mph.
2.21.15 - Nicholas Torroella is a 5-foot-10 160-pound OF/RHP. An athletic frame, Torroella threw from a high ¾ arm slot accurately and made accurate throws with some carry showing off the best outfield arm of the event at 83 mph. There is more in the tank once he gets momentum all moving forward. Offensively, he hit from an athletic and balanced set up.  He has a level bat path and slightly up hill. On the mound, he has a quick arm action throwing from an over-the-top arm angle.  He pitches downhill with his fastball at 78 mph. He has a good 12/6 curveball with sharp movement and near fastball arm speed that he commands well. An interesting prospect to follow in the 2017 class.
