Open, narrow stance with the bat working comfortably off the shoulder to start; utilized a controlled leg hang in order to initiate the swing through a fluid, flat path into the hitting zone. Stayed connected in the box with great sequencing throughout a rhythmic turn into the baseball. Got to extension yielding a pull side approach with juice when lifting (47% fly ball rate). Worked his way up to a 332 foot batted ball distance with a peak of 71 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman Baseball. Power: 95 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Doubles power with occasional home run juice to pull when getting the barrel out in front. Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. Moderate takeaway, high ¾ slot with intent. Defense: Hop in the prep step allowing for attacking footwork and the weight to stay on the toes. Low posture at the fielding window with a soft glove hand off the middle, left side of his body; kept the feet moving towards the target with down chest angles yielding accurate throws across the diamond.
