Athletic body type and 5’4’’, 118 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, slightly closed and slightly crouched stance form the left side with a wide base. Bat rests on back shoulder in stance. Creates some hand separation with a quick, small front leg kick load. Short to the ball with a slightly longer uphill swing path. Stays behind the ball well and generates some lower half involvement. Gets great extension past contact and finishes strong with two hands. Showed good balance in the box. Worked mostly pull-side with a nice line drive approach. Recorded a 68 mph exit velocity. Plays through the ball in the outfield with fundamental footwork and a controlled approach. Throws with shorter arm action from a high three-quarter slot at 65 mph. Ran a 7.84 60-yard time.
MD Junior Future Games Trials
Athletic body type and 5’3’’, 112 pound frame. Hits from the left side in a balanced, athletic, square stance with front foot slightly pointed back towards the catcher. Quick medium sized leg kick load and takes hands back creating some separation. Short, slightly uphill swing path with quick hands and some quick bat speed. Gets excellent extension throughout swing with a high finish and strong lower half involvement. Stays on and behind the ball very well through contact with excellent balance. Attacks the ball in the outfield with quick footwork and stays low to the ground in crow-hop. Throws with long arm action from a high three quarters arm slot at 61 mph. Recorded a 66 mph exit velocity and ran a 4.81 home-to-first time.
