DeLair is 6-1 with an athletic frame that already has some strength to it but still has projection left as well. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a short free arm action that is quick. Some effort to his delivery, shoulders closed and slightly uphill, swings into an open landing with a fall off finish. Fastball was 77-79, touching 80 multiple times with some boring action to armside. Threw a straight change-up at 71 and showed two breaking balls,, a 12/6 curveball at 62-63 and a late 11/5 breaking slider at 68-69.

Solid body type and 6’1’’, 205 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, open stance at the plate. Short, smooth back load with a small leg kick for rhythm and timing. Attacks the ball with a strong, short, level swing. Showed some bat speed and lower half involvement. Power type hitter with present pull-side pop. Recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. Works through the ball at first base with fundamental footwork. Throws with longer arm action from a high three-quarters slot at 77 mph. Controlled side-step wind-up and leg kick into a tall, compact, balance position. Clean hand separation and down to out lower half drive. Gets over front side well and lands square to the plate with a strong athletic finish. Throws from a mid three-quarters arm slot with easy effort and long, loose arm action. Fastball sat 74-76 mph and change-up was 64-66 mph with some nice fade. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape at 61-62 mph.
