MD Preseason All State
Athletic frame at 5-foot-8, 135-pounds. Hits from the left side with an upright slightly open stance. Has some rhythm in the load starting with a leg kick and head maintains balance throughout the load until landing on line. Hands lead the way with the swing showing a flat path and an uphill finish. Swing is smooth, low effort, and finishes the lower half. Exit velo was 78 mph. Feet work through the ball with some pace, clean exchange, and a short arm action. Displayed some arm speed and threw from a low three-quarter arm slot at 75 mph. Ran a solid 4.10 Home-1st. With his athleticism and actions combined with his swing, Brown should be an interesting prospect to follow over the next few years as he gets bigger and adds strength.
