Positional Profile: OF/2B
Body: 5’8”, 150 pounds. Athletic
Hit: RHH. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance from a wide base. Smooth back load and minimal stride. Short to the ball with a level swing path. Showed quick hands and quick bat speed through the zone. Stays behind the ball well with good extension and a one-handed finish. Compact, middle of the field line drive approach.
Power: 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. Gap-to-gap pop with more developing.
Arm: RH. OF 76 mph. Throws with long arm action form a high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Plays through the ball with a large crow-hop fielding it out in front on the glove hand side.
Run: 4.25 home-to-first time.
MD Preseason All State
Athletic frame at 5-foot-8, 150-pounds. Upright open stance hitting from the right side. Small pick up striding in and landing closed with hands back. No hand load, quick bat through the zone, flat bat path, and swing showed line drive tendency. Lower half finished with aggression and exit velocity was 80 mph. Choppy footwork on approach, breaks down prior to catch, fields with two hands between feet, and had a clean exchange and hand break. Long arm action and throws from a high three-quarter arm slot at 74 mph from the outfield. Home-1st time was 4.18.
