Stays on the ball really well with balance and keeps the head down on contact. Slightly uphill swing path with quick bat speed through the zone. Gets extension into a long finish. Gap-to-gap line drive approach. Power: 84 mph exit velocity per TrackMan during BP. Showed some pop to the gaps with much more projected as he continues to fill out. Arm: RH. INF - 73 mph. Throws with shorter arm action from a mid three-quarter slot on most throws with the ability to change arm angles depending on the type of play. Defense: Split-step to ready, plays quick with active feet and fields the ball out in front with an athletic base. Showed nice lateral range and works through the ball to the target. Exchange gets long at times. Run: 7.69 60-yard time.
Delivery: Controlled side-step wind-up with a quick leg kick swing into a tall balance position with a quarter body turn. Creates some lower half involvement with great extension through the zone and past contact. Strong one handed finish, working mostly middle to pull side. Power: 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. Present pull side pop with more projected. Arm: RH. INF - 73 mph. Throws with short arm action from a low three-quarter slot. Defense: Plays loose with quick, active feet. Gets around the ball well and plays through it with momentum towards the bag. Fields the ball out in front, funneling it to the belt with a glove tap during exchange.
