5-foot-9, 170-pound athletic frame. Hits from a square set up at the plate with hands at chest height. Short load to hitting position. Short path to the ball keeping hands inside with some extension. Average balance throughout swing, lower half is inconsistent at times but should get better with continued reps. Some rhythm at the plate, middle approach. Exit velo of 80 mph. In the infield has sound footwork, clean, doesn't waste much movement to release. Three quarter slot, 71 across the diamond. Quick feet and clean transfer behind the dish. accurate throws from behind with a short arm action at an almost over the top slot. Showed nice footwork out of the box with nice footwork on the drop step. Has time to get stronger with his throws, which should get better as he does add strength to improve up upon his 2.25 pop. Interesting one to monitor development.
