MD Preseason All State
Solid frame at 5-foot-10, 150-pounds. Stance starts open in a slight crouched position from the right side. Strides in and lands closed with a slightly wider base. Hands are back with a slight arm bar and path is uphill with average bat speed. Swing had line drive tendencies and was middle-pull dominant. Exit velocity was 73 mph. Works outside the ball with short choppy steps in the infield. Fields it a little deep and had a clean exchange. Arm action was short with average arm speed and throws from a three-quarter arm slot. Positional velocity was 67 mph. Home-1st time was 4.65. Narrow base with a small side step rocker to start the delivery. High balance point as lower half leads the way down the mound with shoulders level, driving off the backside and landing on line. Short arm circle with average arm speed and throws from a low three-quarter arm slot. Fastball worked up in the zone at 66-67 and touched 69 mph. Curveball had a bigger break at 55-57 mph with 11/5 shape.
