Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
6-foot, 145-pound thin projectable frame. From the windup showed a fluid delivery with a solid balance point and consistent mechanics. Positive hip tilt with shoulders uphill moving down the mound. Down and out approach moving toward home and landing slightly closed. Arm action is longer, but had some arm speed getting through and throwing from a low three-quarter arm slot with a recoil at finish. Fastball sat at 71-73 mph and topped at 74 mph. The fastball showed some life with late arm side run. Changeup had some late fade and showed good arm speed on the pitch. Curveball didn't have much shape, but he had good arm speed on the pitch and a 64-67 mph velocity. The frame and arm speed make him an arm to watch for as he adds some weight and strength over the next year or two. Ran the in 7.83.
