Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 5’8”, 165 pounds. Athletic
Hit: LHH. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance from the left side. Quick stride with nice hand separation. Stays behind the ball well with quick hands and quick bat speed through the zone. More level swing path with excellent extension and a strong two-handed finish. Generates some lower half involvement. Squared up a ton of balls middle-to-pull side during BP.
Power: 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. Showed some power to the pull side, more power developing.
Arm: LH. OF - 83 mph. Throws with long arm action from a high three-quarter slot.
Defense: Plays through the ball and fields it out in front on the glove hand side. Showed quick, fundamental footwork and uses a small crow-hop to gather. Quick, clean exchanges.
Run: 4.27 home-to-first time.
Delivery: Starts with his feet on the right side of the rubber, utilizing a short rocker step into a chest high leg kick. Utilizes his long limbs, creating deception while hiding the ball well. Generates good push off his back side driving his front shoulder towards the target. Ends in solid, athletic fielding position.
Arm Action: LH. Throws out of a high three-quarter arm slot.
FB: T79 mph, 76-78 mph. Cut action out of the hand.
CB: 57-59 mph. Loopy, 1/7 action.
CH: 62-64 mph. Good deception slows body down some during delivery.
