Defensively D’Urso works through the catch with a controlled pace, slower exchange and hand break, and long arm circle. Throws from a three-quarter arm slot at 72 mph from the outfield. Ran a 7.51 60.

MD Winter Update
Strong, athletic body type and 6’0’’, 187 pound frame with more room to grow. Hits from a balanced, closed stance at the plate with rhythm. Short, quick, rock-back load and small stride. Creates good hand separation during load and takes straight to the ball. Hands are quick and create fast bat speed through the zone. Swing path is more level and gets slightly uphill at times. Swing can also get long at times. Generates some lower half involvement and gets good extension past contact. Finishes swing strong with two hands and recorded an 84 mph exit velocity. Worked gap-to-gap and showed present strength and power.
