MD MoCo Fall Review

Athletic body type and 5’4’’, 105 pound frame. Hits from a relaxed, balanced, closed stance from the left side. Smooth back load with some hand separation. Stays behind the ball well with excellent balance throughout. Short to the ball with a flat, level swing path. Gets good extension past contact and finishes with two hands. Line drive type hitter with occasional pop to the pull-side. Recorded a 64 mph exit velocity. Plays through the ball in the outfield with fundamental footwork and throws with long arm action from a mid three-quarters slot at 63 mph. Ran a 7.97 60-yard time. Controlled side-step wind-up and high leg kick into a tall, compact balance point with early hand separation. Smooth down-to-out lower half drive off the rubber landing a little closed to the plate with a slightly upright finish. Gets good extension through release. Throws with long, loose arm action from a mid three-quarter slot with easy effort. Fastball sat 57-59 mph and breaking ball ranged 48-53 mph with big, gradual 1/7 shape.
