Hill has great physical makeup and athleticism, with a strong back and shoulders, at 5-foot-10, 190-pounds. Hill is a solid defender in the outfield that will more than likely stay in left field & center field. Has been down as low as a 6.94 60 so he possesses enough speed to cover ground in center. Arm strength is average, but gets great reads and works his angles well. At the plate, batting practice and game, is where Hill really shined. Square slightly upright stance, hands load in rhythm, and gets the body moving forward to contact utilizing the lower half well. Demonstrated ability to use the whole field in approach and did not try to do too much. Flashed power to the pull side, while displaying plenty of carry in both gaps to be utilized in the middle of the order. Had the 6th farthest ball hit during the workout via Trackman at 394.49 feet. Big offensive upside to Hill who had a strong showing at the Future Games and committed to Virginia Commonwealth not long after.

Body: 5’10’’, 190 pounds. Strong, athletic, projectable frame. Hit: LHH. Hits from a balanced, slightly crouched, slightly open stance at the plate. Smooth back load with solid hand separation and strong lower half involvement. Short stride and stays behind the ball well with a short, compact swing. Lightning quick hands and fast bat speed through the zone with a slight uphill swing path and a strong two-handed finish. Ball consistently jumps off the bat with a middle of the field gap-to-gap line drive approach with solid extension through the zone and past contact. Power: 93 mph exit velocity per TrackMan during BP. Present gap-to-gap pop with more projected. Arm: RH. OF - 78 mph, INF - 77 mph. Throws with longer arm action from a high three-quarter slot. Defense: Plays through the ball well with quick, active feet. Quick, clean exchange into a slight crow hop and solid momentum towards the target. Throws were on line and showed carry. Run: 6.94 60-yard time.
