Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
75.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
11.1
Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Gott is 5-10 with an athletic 174 pound frame. He hits from the right side from a slightly open balanced relaxed stance, low leg kick stride on line, smooth load back. Hips rotate completely and he maintains some lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing path with some strength at contact point, showed a pull approach with some natural loft built into his swing, showed some extra base power that way, exit velocity was 85. In the infield, gets body behind the ball and fields with average hands, works through the ball with a clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 71. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, long free arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are uphill and on line, lands slightly closed with a fall off finish. Fastball was 74-76, with armside run that also gets a bit of sink to it. Curveball was 61-62 with some armspeed and gradual 12/6 break to it. Change-up was 70-71 with good armspeed and some late fade to it. Slider was 65-66 with good armspeed and late hard 10/4 break.

Maryland Top Prospect Games II
Body: 5’10”, 174 pounds. Strong, sturdy frame with even proportions overall. Hit: RHH. Slightly open stance with balance over the plate as the hands begin high by the ear. Utilized an early leg lift stride in order to initiate a stretched load beyond the shoulder into the hitting zone through a repeatable, flat path. Hit into a stiff front side with accurate weight shift, transferring rotational energy into impact on time with consistency. Mostly pull side approach with ability to stay on the pitch over the plate up the middle. Power: 86 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Doubles power to pull with obvious connection behind the ball in the approach. Arm: RH. INF - 75 mph. Quick, high ¾ slot with ability to manipulate on the run. Defense: Rangy, athletic defender with good pace during defensive evaluations; beat the ball to the spot with natural instincts and bursty first step in either direction, actions suggest a stay in the middle of the infield long term with low posture at the fielding window. Run: 7.78 60-yard time.
Delivery: Starts on the far left side of the rubber, short/quick side rocker into a fast paced/controlled leg lift at waist height before driving out in a straight line towards the mitt; good bend out in front with an on time hand break, and fell off slightly to the first base line at a 45 degree angle. Arm Action: RH. High ¾ slot with some downhill tilt. FB: T76 mph, 73-75 mph. Average spin rate of 1697 rpm per TrackMan. Slight arm side run and fall into the zone, occasional sink. CB: 57-58 mph. Average spin rate of 1514 rpm per TrackMan. Developing feel for spin, gradual/slow break at 11/5 shape. SL: 62-64 mph. Average spin rate of 1441 rpm per TrackMan. Similar to breaking ball spin, backdoors at times. CH: 69-70 mph. Releases out in front with good separation off of the FB. Secondary pitch at the moment.

Maryland Preseason All-State Session II
Body: 5’10”, 174 pounds. Lean, athletic body profile. Delivery: Starts from the middle of the rubber with both feet narrow, the left almost covering the right to begin; small side rocker with rhythm into a comfortable, controlled stack position at the stomach; good backside leg drive while holding his posture during the move outward. Athletic finish out in front with an adequate front side. Arm Action: RH. Loose ¾ slot from a slightly lower position at times. FB: T77 mph, 75-76 mph. Average spin rate of 1759 rpm. Arm action created arm-side run with up to 19 inches of horizontal movement. CH: 69-72 mph. Good secondary offering with similar fade to the FB, dives out away from LHH. SL: 65-68 mph. Average spin rate of 1495 rpm. Developing offering with low spin and inconsistent shape at times.

Athletic body type and 5’9’’, 148 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, athletic, square stance at the plate. Small leg kick load and minimal stride. Creates some hand separation in load. Short, level swing path and quick hands. Generates some lower half involvement and gets good extension through contact. Line drive type hitter with an exit velocity of 68 mph. Works through the ball in the infield with fundamental footwork. Fields the ball out in front and throws with shorter arm action from a mid three-quarters slot at 69 mph. Showed the ability to make throws from other arm angles based upon the type of play.
