Will Pearce: OF/OF, (2027) BOSTON COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL, MA. 145-pound athletic lean frame. Projectable during batting practice, the hitter had a max exit velocity of 89 mph. (69.8 mph bat speed average). (20.0 mph hand speed average). Starts in a wide open stance with a controlled load, then uses a closed small stride. Bat speed was quick developing, showed a simple flat swing plane and level good extension on his finish. Was able to create loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 77 mph; has consistent developing feet, a natural exchange, and developing soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic developing and he fields the ball to the side.
