Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
6-foot-1, 185-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. He ran a 6.94 sixty at the event. The approach in the middle is advanced for his age, the feet work through the ball and he shows a quick/short throwing path. The glove is reliable and he gets rid of the ball quickly. He threw 79 mph across the diamond with minimal effort. The bat has an exit velocity of 94 mph. The setup is wide in base with the front foot open. The front foot closes down as the swing is launched. The path is clean to the baseball. The frame projects, as weight and strength needs to be added to aid his development. The skill set and inangibles are in place to be a good one.
