Edward Pena: SS/3B, (2027) out of William Hohrenberger, MA. is a talented, athletic 5-foot-6, 150-pound infield prospect. During batting practice, Pena displayed an impressive exit velocity of 87 mph, with a (64.3 mph bat speed average) and (19.2 mph hand speed average). Pena started in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands relaxed just off the back shoulder. He then used a small leg kick to initiate a simple, flat that stays on plane through contact. During his rounds, Pena found multiple barrels, showed quick hands and remained balanced. In the infield, Pena was up to 77 mph on his throws across the diamond, while showing he had a clean exchange, athletic footwork, and soft hands. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.87.
