At 6-foot-2, 220 pounds, this big, strong right-handed hitter has some playable juice. He has a tee exit velocity of 87 mph. The set up begins balanced and even. The hands set just off the back shoulder and move to a strong position during the load. The bat path has some lift but takes a direct path to and through contact.
Defensively, he moves well as a corner infielder. The feet are active pre pitch and light as he moves to get into the fielding position. As he breaks down, the feet are square, with the glove in a good, relaxed position to field. Moving through the ball, he gets into a good throwing position and showed a loose arm at 76 mph across the diamond.
On the mound, the delivery is deliberate. He balances well over the back leg before heading down the mound. The direction is good and uses an over the top arw swing. The fastball sat 73-76 mph with some arm side run. The change-up had good action at 63-65 mph. He also mixed in a slider at 62 mph, that looks to still be developing.
