Vankoski is a good looking, young right-handed hitting catching prospect. He hits out of a squatty, square stance. The hands are relaxed just off the back shoulder. The bat takes a quick, direct path through the hitting zone producing a lot of solid contact. He remains balanced throughout and extends through contact. Behind the plate, Vankoski starts in a good stance. The feet are slightly staggered, the chest is square and the glove is relaxed. As he transitions to throw, the exchange is clean, the chest opens a bit as he comes up causing a bit of a drift to third base. The arm swing is short and he finishes over his front leg.
