Friedman is a 6-foot, 158 pound right-handed pitching prospect. His delivery uses simple, short steps to get into the balance position over the rubber. He separates well at the top, allowing the arm to swing freely. He uses a short, ¾ arm-slot to deliver a fastball that sits 82-84 MPH with late arm-side run. He creates good direction with home plate, allowing him to be consistently in the strike zone. Friedman showed a slider with tight, late break that sits 72-74 MPH and a change-up at 74-76 MPH that struggled a bit with consistency.
