Starts in a balanced wide stance then uses a short stride. Had quick bat speed, simple flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 85 mph; has a clean exchange, and athletic smooth footwork. Used a quick arm action and a low ¾ slot. (Max spin ; Avg ).
Nicholas Massa: SS/RHP, (2024) Leominster High, MA. 5-foot-8, 165-pound sturdy frame. Projectable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 87 mph. Began in a wide open stance with a controlled load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed is quick, has an uphill swing plane and a back foot finish. Found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Pull side approach. Athletic in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 78 mph; has fluid feet, soft hands, and a clean exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a quick arm action and a ¾ slot.
