Has quick bat speed, uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. He produced loud contact during the round. In the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 74 mph; has a natural exchange, athletic rhythmic feet, and sure hands. Had a high ¾ slot with a long arm action. Clocked a 60 time of 7.15 at the event.

Hit: (RHH) Began in an open balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a toe tap. Quick bat speed. Good extension on his finish, uphill swing. 

Power: 96 mph exit velocity, average 85.89 mph. 73.26 mph bat speed average. 22.64 mph hand speed average. Best ev of the day. 

Defense:  (OF) Sure hands, athletic rhythmic footwork, natural exchange.  

Arm: 74 mph outfield velocity. Long arm action, high ¾ slot.

6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. He showed very well for me as he has a ton of potential. He ran a 7.1 sixty at the event. The approach to the ball in the outfield is under control and athletic as he moves his feet through the baseball. He threw 70 mph from right field to the plate at the event. The arm has more to comes as he matures in age. The bat has an exit velocity of 92 mph. The setup is even in base and the front foot steps into the swing as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is long to contact and he shows plus strength in the hands.

Morris has an athletic frame, 6-foot, 172 pounds.  The young right-handed hitting infielder had a tee exit velocity of 75 mph.  The stance is athletic and balanced, with the hands in a relaxed position. He uses a short load to get into a strong position to hit.  The hands show well in his swing. They create a quick bat-path through the zone and stay through contact well. During the batting practice, he showed the ability to consistently drive balls gap to gap.  As he continues to mature, this should transition to added power to the allies.

Defensively, his athleticism continued to show.  The feet were active and his arm was loose. He moves well getting into a good fielding position.  The glove is relaxed out in front and he transitions well to the throwing position. The arm-swing is quick and he showed a velocity of 74 mph from the outfield.

Morris is a good looking young prospect.  His athleticism is evident and translates on both sides of the ball.
